for our website and social media - Participate at one of our community events

community for ongoing events and book distribution

Charlann Farm Fall Event – September 27th, 11am – 5pm
Get ready for a weekend of farm-fresh fun at Charlann Farms! Cops N Kids volunteers will be helping children select free books and spreading the message of our non-profit. We will stay until we run out of books. Sign-up here
WeeCare Too – October 6th, 10:45am – 11:45am
Join us as we read with Pre-k kiddos at WeeCare Too. Each team of two volunteers will read a story and complete a mini literacy activity as a follow-up. Every child will select a book to take home from the collection that we will bring. You will decide on the titles of the books and the follow up activity with your team partner. We have lots of books put aside to choose from and can help will simple ideas for the activity. It’s A Lot of Fun!! Sign-up here
Yardley Makefield Fire Company, October 10th, 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Join us at the Yardley Makefield Fire Company for their annual open house. This has been a great event in past years. It is well attended by the community and it is fun. There were live fire demos during last year’s open house. We need lots of hands to give out books and sign up new volunteers (hopefully). Sign-up here
Family Literacy Night, October 23, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Join us for 21st Century Family Night at Grandview Elementary! This is a great event which we have attended in the past. We will help children, kindergarten through 5th grade, make bookmarks and select books. Sign-up here
