We are going to try something new. Redners Market is allowing us to set up a table in their lobby to share the mission of Cops ‘N’ Kids. We hope this will help with fundraising and recruiting new volunteers.

PreK Child Development, June 8th – See sign-up for time slots
We have an opportunity to share our mission and a love of reading with high school students in Child Development classes. These classes meet at Village Park during the day. We are going to spend about 40 minutess with each class. 10 minutes will be sharing information about Cops “N” Kids. 30 minutes will be a story and mini lesson, just like we do with the pre-k kiddos. Let’s have some fun with these lessons!

Wee Care Too – June 9th, 10:30-11:30am
Join us June 9th to read with Pre-k kiddos at WeeCare Too. Each team of two volunteers will read a story and complete a mini literacy activity as a follow-up. Every child will select a book to take home from the collection that we will bring. Office Deluca and her team will be joining us to visit with the children. We will bring books with officers for them to read if needed. They will also sign books for the children.
