We need some extra help.  We must clean out and organize the teaching offices at BCCC before the semester starts.  That’s a lot of books!  Please bring your muscles and energy.  Most sessions will last 2 hours starting at 10.   However, we greatly appreciate any time and help you can give.  We will cancel any days that are not needed.

Morrisville CCLC Summer Camp, Monday, July 27, 2026

Grades 1st-4th (roughly 50 kids)
The event went so well last year, especially with the involvement of the Morrisville PD. The plan is to have the officers attend again this year.  They will read to the children and sign the books.  There will be time for questions as will as a culminating activity.

Arthropalooza, Sunday, August 2, 2026

Join us at Churchville Nature Center as we participate in their Arthropalooza Event. We will be helping children select books about bugs, animals and creepy crawlers. This event celebrates all things arthropods, ranging from insects, to arachnids, to crustaceans. Volunteers help take admission, assist with crafts, and manage arthropod-themed activities such as the cockroach races, cricket taste-testing, and more!

Join the community and officers for a fun family friendly event.  We will be giving away books and sharing our mission.  Children can color bookmarks and take them home.  This is our first time at Northampton’s National Night Out.  We have found other NNOs to be great evenings so we are expecting another wonderful event.
